Hi! I'm an electrical and electronic graduate engineer currently working on Internet of Things (IoT), data science and machine learning solutions for businesses as an IOT solutions engineer at Networks for Learning Africa (N4LA). At N4LA we develop, promote, and supply affordable and appropriate IoT technologies to our customers on the African continent, by use of state of art methods, technologies and tools such as data science, machine learning and Long Range Wide Area Network (LPWAN), such as LoRAWAN to create data driven intelligent machines/systems across various business virticals.

Before joining N4LA, I was a research intern at Centre for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence Lab (DSAIL), Dedan Kimathi University of Technology ( DeKUT) where I designed, developed and deployed IoT sensors to collect data for precision agriculture, water management, environmental and wildlife conservation. In addition, I developed data processing web-application tools, managed cloud servers, IoT platforms and databases. I strongly believe that integrating engineering skills, cutting edge technology and innovation will drive economic development and digital transformation in the world. I look into a future that is data informed through "talking things".

In the past I worked at Iberafrica Power (EA) Ltd, as maintenance and control engineering intern, Homeboyz Entertainment, as data science intern among others as captured in the CV.

I graduated with BSc. Electrical and Electronic Engineering degree from DeKUT where I was a leader, won a number of innovation and technology competitions and co-authered a research papers. I am also an occasional blogger.
